New SPRING menu is here, and it is RAD!

Well, Spring is definitely here now and One Shot has done a little spring cleaning…out with the winter menu, and in with the new SPRING MENU. We worked with local, talented graphic designer Mac Whalen to design a brand new gorgeous seasonal menu that highlights everything that is good and delicious right now. Come by and check out the new dishes and let us know what you think- we hope you love it!

The Readers like us! They really like us!

One Shot Cofee has been named a FINALIST for the 2013 Philadelphia City Paper Readers’ Choice Awards in the “Cafe” category. (Holy Moly!) If you like us, I mean really like us, then please go to the survey and cast your vote for One Shot! The City Paper Readers’ Choice Awards honor the best services, establishments and neighborhoods in the Greater Philadelphia Area and southern New Jersey. The voting runs until Mar. 19 and the winners will be announced in the City Paper’s Mar. 28 issue. New WINTER Menu is Here!

Well there is not a snowflake in sight, but Christmas is right around the corner so we thought it was the perfect time for our NEW WINTER MENU to debut! The shop will be open all weekend long so come by and try out some new dishes…we’re sure you’ll find some favorites from the warm and hearty menu, full of winter vegetables, brunchtime classics, and some great new spices.

One Shot is expanding! Well, at least our collection of cool, independently made and designed retail goods has expanded. We are proud to showcase some rad finds such as these handmade, screen printed all natural tea towels, lunch bags, and oh-so-adorable baby onesies produced by husband-and-wife team of Oh, Little Rabbit

Also available are our signature One Shot Coffee t-shirts and tote bags (perfect for bringing home Stumptown Coffee and other One Shot goodies) and some easy reading from Microcosm Publishing, like their DIY Homegrown or Tour Diary books. And don’t forget to check out their *adult only* t-shirts. Put some *fun*…in your wardrobe

LIVE IN THE LIBRARY starts November 3rd!

Live Music is back!!! Starting Saturday, November 3rd One Shot will be featuring local acoustic musicians every month in our LIVE IN THE LIBRARY series. For our FREE kickoff event, we are pleased to announce that Hennessey Bonfire and The Gallerist will be playing from 1:30-4:00pm on the second floor of One Shot. Our seasonal brunch menu will be available all afternoon and don’t forget…we are BYOB!

One Shot has some exciting new stuff going on and if you haven’t been by the shop in awhile you should swing in for our new BRUNCH menu, HOT CIDER (pressed from local apples) and our fun new ESPRESSO DRINKS, which change weekly.

Also, in starting in November,  we will be featuring local acoustic bands for our Live in The Library series…stay tuned for details!

New Fall Menu and SOUP is Here!

Our new Fall menu is in full swing, and we have brought back some of last years’ favorites (The Quinoa w/ Roasted Fall Vegetables) and added some new soon-to-be favorites for this year. Come on by and try them all!  And, for all you “soup-ers”….the official start of Soup Season has started today and will continue all through the fall and winter.  All of our delicious, housemade soup will come with warm fresh Hudson Bread. Cold Weather= Soup Heaven!
